Ronnie graduated from Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh in 1981. He went on to have a fulfilling career as a Landscape Architect. In 1990 Ronnie was a founder partner of Stirrat Park Hogg, a Planning and Environmental Consultancy. In 1993 this business changed direction becoming SPH Property Search, a property information business selling search reports to conveyancing solicitors to support the sale of houses across Scotland. SPH Property search was the first business in the UK to create a database of publicly available conveyancing search property information.

In 2000 Ronnie raised £4.5 million finance and expanded the business into England. By 2007 the business had grown to become the largest supplier of local searches in England. The business was now called Onesearch Direct and Ronnie had cornered around 40% of the local searches for the Home information Packs supplied by estate agents to their selling clients. In 2008 Onesearch Direct sold reports produced from its database and information compiled from various public sources to around 400,000 house-buying customers.

With over 25 years experience of being an entrepreneur in the Scottish and UK property market, Ronnie is uniquely placed to introduce the freshest approach in the UK to buying and selling houses since the invention of the internet.
